Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By using solica.co.com or purchasing from Sōlica, you agree to these terms.
2. Who we sell to
Retail orders are available to individual customers. Trade pricing is reserved for approved commercial accounts. We may approve, refuse, or suspend trade access at our discretion.
3. Pricing, taxes, and currency
All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise and may change without notice. Any applicable charges will be shown at checkout.
4. Orders and payment
Orders are confirmed only after payment is accepted and confirmation is issued. We may decline, cancel, or refund an order if necessary, including in cases of pricing errors, availability issues, or suspected misuse.
5. Shipping and breakage
We ship across Canada at a flat rate set on the checkout page. Risk of loss passes to the customer on delivery by the carrier. Breakage or damage in transit must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the packaging and the item. We will replace or refund damaged items at our option.
6. Returns
Because glassware is fragile and we inspect every piece before shipping, we accept returns only for items that arrived damaged or were shipped in error. Contact us within 14 days of delivery to arrange a return. Custom or special-order items are non-returnable.
7. Warranty disclaimer
Our products are made by hand and vary slightly in wall thickness, weight, and finish within the tolerances published on each product page. These variations are part of the process and not defects. Beyond the repair, replacement, or refund remedies described above, Sōlica makes no warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Québec and Canadian consumer law, Sōlica’s liability for any claim relating to the site or a purchase is capped at the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Intellectual property
The Sōlica name, logo, written content, product photography, and site design are the property of Sōlica and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written authorization.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of the judicial district of Montréal.
